Happy Super Friday! Or should it be Super Happy Friday? Either way it is time again to see what Jon the super son is up to. This volume covers issues #7-13, this part 2 is just going to cover issues #10 & 11. I was going to include the Annual #1 because it came out between #11 and #12, but it makes more sense to cover later and was published with volume 3, so look forward to that later. Comic Recap/Thoughts: Suicide Squad Volume 1: The Black Vault, Part 2

Happy Friday! Ready to wrap up Suicide Squad: The Black Vault ? I am pretty sure Zod is going to be a problem, but only two more issues to see what the team does. If you need to read part 1 see the link at the bottom of this post. Also Boomerang is dead, but does anyone in these comics ever stay dead? Time to go find out. The Black Vault Part 3: Bad Brain: Waller is reminiscing of a visit to the city (unclear what city) as a child, today we see the city was destroyed by a battle between Darkseid and Anti-Monitor (I think this happened near the end of the New 52 run of Justice League and might give a better timeline for when all this Suicide Squad stuff is happening). Zod is attacking everyone, Boomerang is just a pair of boots and Waller is mad that no one is reporting in. Comic Recap/Thoughts: Action Comics Volume 1: Path of Doom

The beginning of Rebirth is still very Superman heavy. I think it is because Superman is the reason for a lot of the changes. For today's post we are covering Action Comics Volume 1: Path of Doom, it includes issues #957-962. Fun fact: Action Comics ran until issue #904, but for New 52 they decided to start over at #1. Since Rebirth is all about going back to before New 52 they just included those issues as if the numbering change hadn't stopped, if it is easier you can just think of the New 52 run as double numbered. On to the recap! Path of Doom Part One: We start the issue in Metropolis, Maggie Sawyer and Jimmy Olsen are watching a robbery in progress. Maggie is in charge of the Metropolis S.C.U.
